We use your information to operate the Service: to authenticate you, store and display your collection, send transactional and notification emails, process payments, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

3. Third parties we rely on

  • Paddle — processes payments and, as Merchant of Record, collects and stores payment details under its own privacy policy. We never receive or store your full card details.
  • Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication.
  • Resend — delivers transactional emails (such as share notifications).
  • Sentry — receives error reports to help us fix bugs.

4. Payments

Premium subscriptions are sold by Paddle. Payment information is handled by Paddle under its privacy policy; AudioFile only receives confirmation of your subscription status.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and make the Service work. We don't sell your data or use it for cross-site advertising.

6. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email [email protected].

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including row-level security on our database and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
